“In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, disparate workforces have become the standard. This Gartner report validates the need for collaboration at every edge of an organization. Too often, the frontline workers don’t have the tools they need to do their jobs effectively or in close real-time collaboration with the rest of the organization.  We help solve that problem by making it easy for people to do great work together,” said Don Sharp, CEO at Coolfire.

The 2021 Gartner Hype Cycle for Frontline Worker Technologies report recognized Coolfire as a sample vendor in the workstream collaboration technology category. “Workstream collaboration (WSC) tools create a persistent chat-based workspace divided into channels. Tools integrate direct and group messaging, along with meeting capabilities, file sharing, alerts, activity streams, tasks, bots, search and other plug-ins. They also come with APIs for customized applications.” [1]

Gartner rated workstream collaboration benefits as “high” and expect the technologies to be mainstream in “Less than 2 years” in the report.

Coolfire Core is collaboration software developed based on years of working with U.S. Military Special Operations and strategic customers like Enterprise Rent-A-Car and American Expediting Company. Experiences from these implementations helped Coolfire create purpose-built collaboration software from frontline workers. Coolfire Core is built for fast-moving frontline operations teams to connect to back-office data, coordinate assigned tasks, and provide in-context messages and workflow.
